In wall paintings within tombs and temples Nefertiti is depicted as an equal alongside her husband – much more often than any queen in Egyptian history. She is often seen in positions of authority and power, such as smiting her enemies or driving a chariot. Traditionally only Egyptian pharaohs would be represented this way, which goes to show what a powerful and well-respected figure she was at the time.

There have been many theories offered to explain her abrupt disappearance and, among these are: She fell out of favor with her husband because she could not produce a male heir and so was replaced by Kiya. She abandoned the religion of Aten and was banished by Akhenaten.

This means that Nefertiti's tomb was not found. Hawass said, "There is no scientific evidence proving the theory that Queen Nefertiti was buried inside Tutankhamun's tomb. We believe that Nefertiti could be buried in the western valley next to the tomb of King Amenhotep III."

When I was a kid in the 1960s growing up in NJ I went as Queen Nefertiti on Halloween. My dad made a sturdy cone like hat and Mom sewed her costume jewelry on it. Then she made me a long white gown out of a sheet with a gold sash. I felt so beautiful but the headdress was so heavy I had a stiff neck the next day. I still managed to get a lot of candy loot though !

That just was found in a sculptor’s shop on the floor with no name and the artist unnamed. Incorrectly attributed to Nefertiti, the depictions that follow suit are also erroneous. The only trustworthy depiction being the stone carvings that do not look similar to the pale females shown in this video.
