California's Supreme Court ruling was unanimous in favor of a San Francisco man who claimed it was unfair for him to be jailed because he was too poor to afford cash bail. Now, the high court says, that ability to pay must also be considered along with a suspect's danger to the public and flight risk when judges set bail.
