That's called hooking a sponson.
It's inherent to catamaran hulls, but we mostly only see this with lightweight race and sport hulls. This is a cool example because this is slow motion compared to how fast it happens when running an MTi or something lighter/narrower. You either get spun around backward or get barrel rolled before you have time to do anything.

I would have that in the wall and run aground. I can’t drive a boat. My uncle has had boats and taught me navigation but never wanted a boat. I’m a great passenger though. I love being on the water just not in charge. Ive always run crews on my job sites weekends and water are for fun. Just me
