PA changed their firework laws a few years ago. You can buy the mortars and set them off legally now. You just have to be 150 feet from dwellings.

I live in southern Cali.(Imperial Beach)and we have fire works off our pier(as do a bunch of other cities and big parts of San Diego) 5:57 ..It's synced with local radio station..All this, mostly because S.D.& Coronado&Imperial Beach&Point Loma ect.all have Navy bases..
