One month on and Cleopatara has progressed a little. Now back inside my house due to temperature/seasonal change.
Day temps may fluctuate between 16 to 21 degrees C, but night time temps as low as 9 degrees C. During the last 3 evenings we went from a tiny splattering of snow to a full covering of snow on Mt Egmont (Taranaki) It's beautiful to see again from a disyance, but wow the tempetatures go down fast. Phals like a minimum of approx 18 degrees C.

So good to see that this worked! 👍🏼 It hasn’t for me ... ever! I have lost all my rootless phals ... I never managed to save them ... I’ll keep trying tho!

What do you do w all your baby plants when they grow up? 👍🏼. On another note, I have the same challenge w my one and only Phal. I draped it over a stemmed wine glass filled about 1/2 way w water. It has a new leaf coming and new leaf after about a month. Yay.

Nice update Esther. Just wondering where you purchased your black wire shelves from. 🌞

New subscriber! Thank you for you knowledge! Do you think moss would be better then water culture for getting roots? I have two keiki's that have no roots & in trying to save them. I'm doing 2 days in water & 3 days dry?
