Bookshelf Tour Part 2

This is part two of my #BookshelfTour where I show you all the books I have at my apartment and not at my parents’ house. The ultimate goal is to merge these two collections and hopefully weed the collection out a little bit, read and re-read, organize them on my LibraryThing….It’s in the works, but this is it as it stands now. Please keep in mind this collection took a long time to build and part of my studies included the study or rare books, paper, and book history/production which is why I am very interested in editions etc. I don’t believe you have to have special editions, the content matters a lot more of course, but this was a part of my study and reading journey and over time I just accumulated them. I just know that bookshelf tours are a great tradition here on #booktube

I noticed whilst you were doing the introduction that Rachel and I were mentioned and was curious what we were both being blamed for. I suspect Rachel is just as happy to be blamed for this as I am. You have a really impressive and varied collection of books. Multiple genres with new and old within it, as well as super varied editions.

I think I've fallen in love with your bookshelves. If you find a small dusty turtle in a corner of your bookcases, it's me. Such a wonderful variety, so naturally there's a mix of overlap & envy with my own books. I'll just say I adore your owl (I collect bookends) & your Sylvia Plath shelf is to die for. I love her drawings book, though I've taken her collected letters from the library (on vol 2). Great tour!

Such a wonderful and thoughtful collection Andreea. I love your author and themed shelves and didn't realize you were so into biographies. You have inspired me for when I get round to getting proper shelves for my own books. By the way, that copy of The Second Sex looked like something had been chewing on its corner- what happened there? 😄

This was great. Absolutely enjoyed. So many great editions. The annotated volumes really caught my eye.

What an amazing collection! Cant even imagine how long it would take me to get half of that. I have read some Dostoevski classics and would like to get into more russian literature, the short stories book seems interesting. Also cool to see Borges and Cortazar, as argentine they were my first favorite writers.
