I don't care what anyone else thinks, areo chamber beat flow master in sound.I hope no one holds it against me that I’m a little partial to em, I have 2 pairs! Lol

Sounds excellent! I also appreciate the sound quality of the video. No wind, cars driving by, or any other weird stuff. I decided to buy this system for myself after watching this video. I put a TPIS MiniRam with a Comp XFI 268 cam and long tube headers and a 58 Throttle body, Really hoping once I get it installed that it sounds as awesome as this!

Idles at 900ish. Rear wheels are zr1 with an offset set up for the camaro.

So I did end up putting on this muffler in my 91 Camaro Z28. I have 10:1, TPIS Mini Ram, 24 Lb. injectors, MSD street box, ProMaxx 183cc heads, a Comp 268 XFI cam, Stainless Long tubes, Y pipe into 3" to the muffler. All that being said, it still doesn't sound as good as this Camaro. I can only attribute it to the fact that I didnt degree the cam! I degree everything, but was building another 3 at the same time. Gave my customers the knots ass of perfection, and sold myself short! I believe its advanced giving me less lope at idle. I had TPIS tune it on his Chassis dyne. Made 335 to the tires. That translates to 400 at the crank. I ran it at Brainerd International during street legal drags. It runs consistent 13:10, 11, 12. Its not bad, but I also dont like the loss of torque with the Mini Ram. I'm thinking about going with a bigger cam and a FIRST intake next time. Depends on if the gas prices ever come back down and our current dipshit in chief doesn't implode the economy any worse than it is! Either that or I'm going to build a 406 short block and up the cam, with same heads and intake before the apocalypse. Just to self medicate. P.S. 3.42 rear gears with a 700R4.

You did the right thing building it yourself. The Hooker cat back is junk. Flanges welded crooked, bad bends, forgotten flare the over the axle tube on one. Tips don't fit on the tail pipe. Poor packaging. Sent them both back. Building my own system. Hookers headers and exhaust all made in Mexico. Mufflers are made in China. The sad thing is the Mufflers are well done. We bought three sets of headers for my buddy's 68 Chevelle before we had a good pair!

what catback are you running? Is it just a muffler with stock y pipe? Or do you have an off road Y pipe to a catback?

I hand built the exhaust. It's got a 2 1/2" y pipe into a 3".
