Kormir VS Trahearne

I've got no idea why this is being recommended to me now, but I'm glad it was.

I honestly didn't think Trahearne was that bad. He was on the front lines quite a bit of the time and did the ritual to restore the spirit of the land of Orr. In the end most people were shouting praises at you, even Trahearne. Compare to Kormir who literally has all of the credit and ascended to godhood.

I personally prefer Trehearne. He's been a cute, sweet bae who often sweet talks and praises the PC, follow the PC into the battlefield and does something to attract the enemy aka a good tank. And he can summon 5 meat bois. Kormir, on the other hand, does absolutely no shits despite the title of GODDESS. Like, she's a fucking goddess now but literally just throw away Balthaza's problems and let humanity solve it themselves.

Funny thing is, both Kormir and Trahearne are my two favorite characters in terms of their possibilities. A story of your friend and mentor becoming a transcendent goddess could have been incredibly heartwarming. The story of a necromancer, torn between the sources of life and death (being a plant-creature), taking up a holy blade to stand against the undead hordes he intimately understands could have been epic. The execution, however... well...

i really don't mind either of them. i played nightfall first and was too involved in rushing for HoM points and trying to overcome the games mechanics to notice kormir until she became a god. as for trahearne the only problem i had with him was how uncertain he was and how much encouragement and reassurance my character had to give him. HE should be giving ME the push forward. in any mmo you assume the role of "the crowd" there will always be an NPC that is more important than you.
