My wife will not see this video.
She will look at me and say, it's almost like reliving the years I raced Texas TCCRA. So many broken bones, broken bikes, and being broke after fixing the bikes.
Yep good times.... But never had I done a 24 hour race. I'm glad you all had a good time, and finished.

That could have been my wife as well 😂 in Germany it’s called „Schadenfreude“ and it’s best served from the loved ones. I think there might be a bit of „told you so“ in it with pride about you and your son finished a 24h race. I‘d say it’s definitely a laughter of love.

Jack really did have the thousand-yard stare... I know that look and that feeling after being awake for over 24 hours and exhausted.

Awesome video! Smashed ribs are fun. I was feeding grain to my cattle (about 60 head at the time). They were crowding and shoving and knocked me over the feeder onto the opposite edge. My arms were extended out holding a bucket of grain. It sounded like stepping on crackers. I never spilled any grain and didn't fumble my bucket. My ribs hurt for 4 months. I could load hay into the truck but I could not pitch the hay to feed. So my wife did. My buddy is currently in rough shape from crashing his dirt bike. So take care of yourself. You're not 25 any more.

Cody learning that he doesn't bounce as good as he use to and the sheer joy mrs.W takes knowing he chose to do it to himself is priceless! I've found my self on the same situation more then one. Usually after weeks of trying to convince my wife that I can do something and her reminding otherwise! Then when I come home with my ass dislocated she takes great joy in pointing out how once again she knew better then I did!
