Why Anna Paquin Is Using a Cane (Source)

Anna Paquin has been dealing with an undisclosed illness and requires a cane amid mobility issues, a source tells ET. The actress used a cane as she stepped out with her husband, Stephen Moyer, at a screening of 'A Bit of Light' in New York City on Wednesday. The source adds that Anna has also experienced difficulties with her speech, but she will hopefully make a full recovery.

She's *so* young; she's only 41. We won't know what her diagnosis is unless she chooses to announce it. But the fact that "a full recovery" is a possible outcome is obviously a great sign.

Neurological conditions that can cause symptoms like these can be incredibly painful & difficult to treat, regardless of how much money you have. They also take a psychological toll. Imagine suddenly not being able to walk and/or talk. Or physically take care of your kids. Or do your job. And so on.
I hope she continues to improve & does, indeed, make a full recovery.

I hope and pray that she will be OK. Sounds like stroke/ neurological problem to me. But I respect the privacy, and it's been consistent. Love them both.
