Nice explanation but i have one doubt in elastic search. where the indexes are stored is it RAM memory or disk storage memory?

I have a dobut about concepts of adding nodes explained from time 6:00 onwards. Number of Primary servers are decided when the index is created and it cannot be changed later (unless index is recreated). However, Replicas can be changes. So the number of write servers cannot change but reading servers can. How adding new nodes can help in reading as shards will be replicated to new nodes but write nodes will not change. So can you recheck and explain it again.

U r mistaken sir.. replica and shard are not the same. the replica is a replication strategy for index. replica has the same what the index has
