If we are to grow our sector to meet the demands of tackling climate change adaptation and driving nature’s recovery, and if we are to become a more diverse and inclusive profession, we need to transform the ways in which people can embark on a career in ecology and environmental management. Following on from the launch of our CIEEM-Lantra report into vocational pathways to support entry into the sector, we are pleased to invite you to a short webinar and panel discussion on how we bring about change and how employers and leaders need to be involved in designing and creating that change.

Representatives from the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IfATE), Department for Education, and Further and Higher Education sectors will explain the current offering for school leavers and career changers in terms of apprenticeships, skills bootcamps, degrees and microcredentials. Through a panel discussion we will explore what is working and what isn’t from an employer’s perspective and what the next steps should be.

If you are concerned about future capacity in the profession and what we can do about it – this webinar is for you.
