There are also 4 deadly brain injuries that weren't included in the anime :

— In Syrop Village Luffy actually took one of Jango's chakram (his sharp discs) right to the back of the head, sinking firmly into Luffy's skull nearly half way through, causing him to have to pull it out from there.

In the anime Luffy only catches it with his teeth.


— In Drum Island when Kureha runs after Luffy and Sanji we actually see them coming back each with a knife planted in the back of the head and a bit of blood squirting from there.

It's not in the anime.


— On Long Ring Long Land during his dual against Foxy, Luffy uses a cannonball to shoot at Foxy, causing him to fall over a bunch of super sharp spikes with one going right through his skull between his eyes and into his brain with a bunch of others going right through his entire body.

In the anime he only falls on the cannonball that was fired.


— Then there's Whitebeard who got half of his skull and brain blown away in the manga while it was only part of his mustache in the anime.
