The live version of this song is really great too. I honestly can't decide which I like more, but that is probably a good sign.

I remember listening to this back in 2008 on a Blackdown mix, almost forgot about it tbh. It's been too long.

Thanks for jogging my memory!

I guess he made himself immortal with this one and a couple of other tracks.

James Blake has never been in Mount Kimbie. Ever. However he is playing playing on the same night as them at Warehouse Project

I originally thought it was "On That Heavenly Hill" and if you look it up the official lyrics (Genius.com) it is actually "Born in Bethlehem." It shouldn't make you feel bad if you interpreted it wrong however, James Blake purposefully made the lyrics hard to translate because he loves to see his fans interpret it in different ways. James Blake is the type of artist to not say the lyrics as clear as possible on purpose in some of his songs, so he can see how his community takes it.

+amamuffin I love the lack of structure though. The lack of "structure" you're calling it gives it its .. what am i supposed to call it .. it feels more natural, more alive. Unpredictable and thus interesting to listen to. like getting to know a person in real life instead of a cliche personality in a movie. (at this point i'm not arguing i'm just trying to give you a new perception)

I looked it up and it was actually Willow Smith who said she listens to this in an interview. My respect for her just went up a little bit.

The sample here is people singing “Born…” and “Born in Bethlehem” (it’s rhythmically swung into “Born in Beth-a-la-hem”).

It’s taken from a recording of a folk counting song called ‘Holy Babe, ’ sung by the vocal quintet of Kelly Pace, Aaron Brown, Joe Green, Paul Hayes and Matthew Johnson.

Reminds me a lot of Flying Lotus, only dubstep.
Listen to "Something Stellar", and you'll see what I mean.
