I watched a Japanese movie "Midnight Diner" (深夜食堂) and there was a scene where this sonata was playing. I became fascinated by it and found out the title of this sonata through the closing credits and searched it on Youtube right away. I'm glad I watched your interpretation. Thank you!

I knew you'd like it... This is the best Scarlatti, isn't it? Good performance! Thanks!

So very many interpretations: Andras Schiff, Christian Zacharias, Racha Arodaky and Marcelle Meyer to name a few.
What you are doing here is so completely different but so fantastic at the same time.
The whole sonata gives one so much piece and relaxation. Great interpretation !!
Thank you.

Very much enjoyed your rendition and may I say the unique view just of your hands is especially helpful to would-be musicians. I play guitar and have been musing on my own interpretation of this for a year. Seeing how your hands create the flow as well as hearing is offering up insights which are transferable to guitar. I'm very grateful.

Scarlatti is very delicate and have composed several pearls. I actually wasn't aware of this one. Had I known it I had posted a video long ago, hehe...

Dear Mr.Cubusdk, You are so kind to post all these pearls fro free. I didnt see any artist who does that.beleive me if you would put these pearls on CDs i would be the first one to buy them.Your interpretations are always fresh and surprisingly new to the ear.I like scarlatti too. Chopin thought he was as talanted as Mozart. My friend, Did you ever think of Playing some of Yanni's works like One man's dream, Marching Season, Tribute, etc. I'am sure they will sound astonishing with your interpretation

Such a beautiful music you create...right now i feel kind of sad, hurt and i'm trying to find out why, and this song really calmed me down. I'm gonna do a combination of perfect euphoria now - drawing with your piano on the background :)))

Superbe! Mais pourquoi ne pas avoir joué la reprise dans la deuxième partie? Mystère et boule de gomme...

Beautiful rendition of this peice Cubus!  Again, just a fantastic sense of rubato, dynamics, touch, and feel.  Although, I would have preferred a little more reverb on this one to add a more "stately" feel to it.  ;o)

Stop butchering it and learn phrasing first
