This is a video talking about our number one selling chicken coop called the Carolina Coop. We talk about all the key features like the solid roof run and why that is very important t have on any chicken coop. I also show the inside of the hen house and how easy this chicken coop is to clean especially with the very popular deep litter method. On the back side of the coop is also the rain catching system with the reclaimed rain barrel and water bar using the spring loaded horizontal nipples. On the back of the hen house our new lift off doors to allows tons of ventilation into the hen house which is very important for the overall health of your chickens.

This video was filmed in Denmark Wisconsin.

Why the bottom door I don’t understand. It wouldn’t be easier just to put two doors in or even one on the back of the coop or even one that hinges from the bottom maybe

Does the run really stay dry with that roof? With even a mild wind, which usually accompanies any rain, everything in that run is going to be soaked. I'm sure rain blows through the windows, too. The roof doesn't extend out far enough to be very valuable, but you can't extend it because then the door wouldn't open.

Can you usually leave your house windows open when it's raining hard? And the roof on your house extends a lot further out than that.
