I have been riding with the brake free now for almost a year since it first came out and I love it.

I've been running one since last winter (Christmas present from my wife). I got another mount for my second helmet - I have a Simpson which is great for fall/winter (low airflow) and a Roof for spring/summer and it fits both fine. When riding with friends, it's easier for them to notice me rolling off the throttle/downshifting so they can react quicker and they can do the same.
I also find cars and trucks don't follow as close once it's come on a couple times, which is always good.

I got one about a year ago for my onewheel and my electric unicycle, obviously they don’t go into emergency braking mode, but every time I slow down it shows I’m braking, they are very nice.

I’ve been thinking of getting this, I’m a new rider and what to be seen. I’m a little nervous about the weight on my helmet because I also have a GoPro and Cardo mounted so the additional weight makes me a little hesitant. I’m small in stature.

It looks like it increases visibility greatly. The only issue I see is that since it adds mass to your helmet then you’ll be increasing the amount of weight that your neck is supporting in a crash.
