45-605 PrepPro Coax UTP Cable Stripper

Показать описание
Here is the link to the IDEAL Datacom product page.
The new Ideal Prep Pro stripping tool catalog number 45 – 605 is my new favorite stripping tool for coaxial and UTP cables. Made here in the USA in Sycamore IL.
The heavy-duty long-lasting blades in the molded cartridges have an outstanding cutting ability. The blade cartridges are designed to be inserted into the tool for either left or right handed technicians. You will notice on the bottom of each blade cartridge one side completely fills the opening and the other side does not. They can be inserted into the tool in only one direction and will not pull out when stripping cables.
Using the gray cartridge it does a great job of creating the proper two step strip on RG 59, RG 6, and RG 6 quad coaxial cables with no adjustments needed
To make the proper strip simply insert the coaxial cable until the end of the cable is even with backstop in the gray blade cartridge. This will ensure a proper strip of a quarter inch of braiding and quarter inch of center conductor exposed needed for all types of F connectors. Rotate the tool around the cable 3 to 4 turns and remove the material from the cable exposing the 2 step strip.
The Blue blade cartridge can be moved to the working position on the tool to easily strip the outer jackets off of UTP cables like Cat5e, Cat6 and cat6A.
