this solidified my theory that ALM wasn’t some world class dance teacher. She was a random studio owner from PA who got lucky that a show filmed with her students blew up the way it did.

I feel really bad for Abby's mother... After all, she made that building, she bought that building and she probably put a lot of love into it only for her daughter to throw it all away.

Imagine spending all that time and money on the ALDCLA just to have it stripped away. All this time, I never knew and I thought that the little room that they practice in at their new studio was just a small room inside of the original ALDCLA. I had 0 clue that she lost that building

it’s funny because this whole time abby acted as if she didn’t need lifetime and insisted that she was world famous on her own, but as soon as lifetime stopped working with her she lost everything

The “food court” is delicious btw. It’s not really a food court though, it’s a bunch of kitchen space and you order from a kiosk and wait in a room for your order. There’s nowhere to sit except a small patio outdoors.

You know what I'm wondering, seeing all these awesome Uncovered videos... how many students of Abby really became famous on Broadway etc? I mean, she always claimed she is just the right person to produce stars, but do we know how many of her students who didn't participate in Dance Moms actually got to Broadway/big jobs in the entertainment industry? Abby seems like a person who'll claim these kinds of things even though they could be empty words so... idk, it would be interesting to know if she really has a success rate in getting kids to Broadway?

As a small business owner, I can’t fathom getting that behind on taxes. She can blame cameramen all she wants, but being that behind in taxes shows a systemic problem in the business, and she is squarely to blame.

Could you maybe do an episode on how successful Abby was before the show?, Because she always claimed that she was a star maker and had so many students on Broadway but tbh the only aldc students I know of are from dance moms. Like to me it always seemed that she just got lucky to be on a TV show

Sometimes i felt bad for Abby throughout the seasons, like when she lost her mom, dog, and when she was going to prison. But then again i didnt at other times because of how rude she was.
