I was a welder for 40 years. This is one thing that I would tell new welders. "Always try to make your next weld better than the last one, even if the last one was the best that you have ever done."

I love how, every time you stop to say "Don't do this" or "Do yourself a favour and..." you can almost tell that a dozen student blunders come to mind. That's a sign of an experienced and skilled teacher

I love how he's preemptively angry at all of us. He tried to raise us right but we're a goddamn disappointment.

College level welding course with no BS for free. I'll take that all day long. Thanks Bob, your expertise is very welcome.

I'm a hobby welder, learned from bits & pieces of advice from dozens of sources. This is the single most important piece of teaching I've gotten so far

Nothing more satisfying when you go to chip slag and the entire piece just falls off with barely any force. This man is like the Bob Ross of welding

I'm not even a welder or a blue collar worker, this is just so damn cool. Watching experts do simple jobs casually and talking about it is one of the most fascinating things on Earth.

When listening to this man teach, I think back to to my late father whom was retired army, combat vet, teaching me how to fix my own equipment. Something soothing in his tone and how he breaks me down to build me up.

I really appreciate your instruction . I am 76 and getting back into a bit of welding and you make me aware I have a lot to learn . I’m going to sign up for some welding classes and hope my instructor is half as good as you at explaining things .

I bought an oxy acetylene set up and taught myself to weld 40 years ago..then 20 years ago I bought a mig, ten years ago a tig. Watching these videos has made me better on all of them. Thanks.

Bob, thank you for the priceless education. I have enjoyed watching your videos over and over. I was in a bad car wreck 6 years ago, haven't worked since. I'm trying to build barbecues to bring in some income to help out my wife. You have no idea how important the info you've given me is. Thanks!

Sir greetings from Mumbai - India. I am a mechanical engineer and trainer myself. Not of welding though.
Recently bought a 200 amp welding inverter.
Found your video to be the best.
Simple, lucid and no nonsense instructions.
I am impressed. Thank you. Highly appreciate the good work. Regards and best wishes from India.

I've watched many welding guide videos way before I started welding for real on my hobbies, but this one is the first I've ever watched, and it has helped me greatly down the line.

I’ve been welding since 2019, I started college with 2 basic welding classes. And I passed all classes, completed flux core, mig, tig, pipe weld, and even did gas welding. I now have a apprentice job with a company that I plan on staying with till I retire. It was this video that got me intrigued and made we want to try welding. I thank you Bob Moffatt and your team for getting me into this big field of blue collar work! This is what I want to fulfill my career with.
