The webinar presented an overview of the Jeevika program in the state of Bihar. Jeevika is one of the world’s largest programs for strengthening rural financial inclusion and livelihoods and operates as part of India’s National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM). This webinar has presented implementation perspectives on how Jeevika has leveraged communities, built on livelihood and financial inclusion platforms. Recent efforts to expand toward more vulnerable population groups under the Satat Jeevikoparjan Yojana (SJY) program were discussed as well.
