_"No matter how many times I forget your name, I'll never forget the memories we've shared. I'll always, always find you, no matter where you are in the world"_

I saw this in the cinema today with my little sister, and it is the only movie that ISNT Marvel where after the movie finished and the credits were rolling, no one moved and the whole cinema fell silent, only the credit music playing. never seen anything like it and for Something I've never experienced before, everyone was feeling the same thing, everyone was speechless. I could feel it. Breathtaking work of art that shines light on this sinking world.

I cried like a baby during the movie and I was still sobbing when the credits were rolling... This is seriously one of the best movies I have ever watched. I don't think I'll ever be able to forget it

Step 1: You may feel satisfied like never before after watching this masterpiece and then you begin to feel the emptiness moments later. Soon you will start to venture out and search for more and more just to fill the void that this breath-taking piece of has left inside your heart.

Step 2: Binge watch every film directed by Shinkai Makoto, just to find out that none were able to satisfy yourself the way Kimi No Na Wa did, and so you rewatch it again. Right after finishing it for the second time, you'd realize that you've fucked up by landing yourself RIGHT BACK TO STEP 1.

One of the best films I've ever seen in my life. I rarely jump on bandwagons, but this film is truly special. I can't get over how good it is. Everything is perfect. The animation, score, soundtrack, voice acting, concept, chemistry. It's easily the best film I've seen this year. One of the best films of this century even. I couldn't stop thinking about it for days. It's fucking incredible.

Is it just me who is satisfied with the movie's ending? The movie was a rollercoaster of emotion it made me cry but it made me cried more because I was overwhelmed. They may not remember each other's name but they clearly know that each of them knew each other even forgetting the names. You can't just say you know someone when you just know his name. In their case, they may forgot each other's names but inside their hearts there's someone in there they know even it was somewhat just a glimpse of life. When you have a connection with someone, even if you don't know their name, you knew who they are. Because there's more than someone's name. There is more than the name we call someone. Its who he/she is. The movie's title wasn't translated Who You Are right? Maybe 'Your Name ' when translated in Japanese, the meaning would be who you are/who are you but just like what I mentioned earlier I believe there is something more than what other's call us, our name. There could be a thousand Mitsuha and Taki's out there but there is only one Mitsuha who is loved and known by Taki and there is only Taki who is loved and known by Mitsuha. Our personalities make up who we are so when asked who you are you should not just say 'I'm Mitsuha'. "I'm Mitsuha who is the Mitsuha existing in this timeline. I am me."

I actually watched this film many times. A week after I watched this, I still cried but not because I was sad or unsatisfied of the ending. I was glad it ended that way. I don't want to see any cliche reunions anymore in my entire life (though lifeis cliche). Someone out there might be expecting to see more than of that certain ending but it was a PERFECT ONE. You were expecting something more to fill something on your what? Chest! A giddy feeling? When actually the whole film is not just a cliche giiddy film. It speaks about true love. A love that even you were worlds apart, you were memories apart, you still LOVE SOMEONE. The film doesn't have to show them kissing in the ending. Kissing is not just the only way of showing how one feels. You have seen it! You have seen their eyes full of seeing after staring at each other in the other trains. You have seen it how they cried at the ending. It was not sad. Because eventually they'll know each other's name. And You Felt It! That undescrible overwhelming emotion that surround you even until after watching the film.

Honestly, there were scenes I can't comprehend (I know you do have too) but even it left my mind hangiing, it didn't felt void, it didn't left my heart hanging I was still able to feel those emotions without any logic of my confused mind. I was able to feel nostalgic and I don't know why but I'm still digging, I don't need any reasons. And I hope you did too.

Scenes which made me tear up real hard:
(I was crying when Mitsuha cried that day she set the date of Taki and Ms. Okudera up until after the movie but these things hit something in my heart, pain and an undescribable overwhelming feeling)

*When Grandma told Taki he's dreaming
*When the phone call was not answered (I knew Mitsuha would die tho)
* When Mitsuha died
*Everytime they can't remember each other after they wake up
*When Taki started searching for Mitsuha
*When Taki arrived at Itomori
*When Taki said Mitsuha's notes were still in his phone
*When Taki got confuse if Mitsuha is a ghost or something.
*Taki's dream (that Taki-kun Taki-kun don't you remember me thingy)
*When Taki still pursue in finding Mitsuha even if he was confused
*When Taki remembered Mitsuha who went to Tokyo to see him
*Taki's line when he was going to Musubi's body
*Taki saving Mitsuha
*"Kataware-doki ah"
* When Mitsuha discovered that it's not Taki's name written in her palm but the words "I LOVE YOU" A scene of saying how much you lve someone (that time it should be Taki's chance so that Mitsuha won't forget him but he writes how he feels risking the chance of letting Mitsuha remember his name)
*Those times when they crossed each other's part of some events that just links them to each other and they would stop in the middle of what they are doing
* When their eyes got wider seeing each other riding on separate trains and finally their questions of finding something, or someone, or some place, or jobs were answered because they're finding someone all this time!
* When they run from the train to find ecah other and stopped their tracks when they finally met at that stair where Mitsuha once walked when she went to Tokyo and then goes on but Taki take courage and ask Mitsuha if they somehow knew each other and Mitsuha said she thinks so too and they were crying
*When they asked each other's name

I've heard of the "anime void" before. Where after watching something, you can't really find anything really like it, and it just makes you feel empty inside. This film left me with that feeling. I've yet to find something that has the same feel or impact that this film did. It is truly a masterpiece. I've come back and watched it time and time again, and every time is just as good as the first. This soundtrack is one of those reasons

I just finished watching the movie and I got to say without a doubt that was the most beautiful thing I've watched. It pulled my heart strings so much. Near the end I was panicking saying things like "Keep on running." "Find each other please." I will say again that the movie without a doubt is something I will always believe to be the best and most emotional thing I've watched in my life.
