I don't think ultimately this appeal is going to make any difference Allin, I don't think it should make that much difference now really 🤷‍♂️. As far as I can tell, this appeal will purely be about the amount of the fine not security status. Once people realise this, things might calm down again.

I’ve been really bullish on XRP and spent a heap of time researching and had good sentiment . This has now evaporated I feel sorry for the people that have been in for numerous years. I lost approx $2500 on this. I can’t see any reason to keep persevering. Very disappointing 😞

Anyone who thought the SEC wouldn't appeal was kidding themselves, they are literally spending free money to do it. They've got nothing to lose.

I've been in XRP since 2017. Never sold or took profit, which was a mistake. I'll keep holding XRP until it goes where i think its going. Until then I've DCA'd into 14 other coins/tokens and (if) XRP misses this cycle so be it.

Outside the US XRP and ripple will thrive - XRP as a stable coin. Now RLUSD takes it place - But RLUSD brngs utility to XRP -BUY!

I agree with your initial assessment, the SEC are doing this because they want keep the status quo as far as traditional finance sectors are concerned, they see XRP as the thin-end-of-wedge as far as getting crypto and blockchains in particular involved in dat to day finances of ordinary folk. They don't want lose control of entire countries financial sectors to decentralized financial services, products and sectors.
They're losing, and they know it.

2 1/2 more years of trial then they will appeal it to the next court then 2 years after that it will go to the Supreme Court. All in all 6 to 7 years left of court dates.
