{219} Inside Covert Instruments

Have you ever wondered about the inner workings of Covert Instruments? What LPL is like in person? What Trevor McNally is like in person? Well, I actually got to go there and see what Covert Instruments was all about. I'm not easily impressed, and boy let me tell you ... I was very impressed!

From the happy and welcoming demeanor of every single employee, to the quality control and customer service, Covert really outdoes themselves at every turn. I'm really glad I was invited out to see for myself how they do things. I got to learn tons of bypass techniques thanks to their amazing product designer (who taught me so much), @lockpickinglawyer , and @McNallyOfficial! So now when I put one on video, I won't be copying McNally, I'll be showing you what HE TAUGHT ME!

I even got a sneak peek at what's to come and it's going to be a game changer. You are all going to love the new products that will be coming out soon. And if you weren't a fan before, you will be. I personally cannot wait to get my hands on all the new goodies they're gonna have for us.

They sent me home with some really cool gear to try, and some to give away on Picking Time too. So stay tuned for some cool videos on all my new @CovertInstrumentsOfficial tools. I can't wait to try them all out.

Well that is pretty cool you got to go out there. Only ever purchased their FNG & ToK tensioner set, but I have no complaints with them. I did bend the short hook that came with the FNG, but that had everything to do with me being inexperienced at the time. And I was still able to pick a lock with spools with it. Nice to hear it is a decent place.

This is why I don't buy into the ire LPL and CI I have seen in some corners of the internet. Yes, I like some picks from another vendor better, but I cut my teeth on CI gear.. and I will gladly buy more. :) I REALLY love the ergo turners in the Echelon set I ordered, and wish I could afford to buy the full sized ones.. (have to wait.)

What a treat! I live about 50 miles south of their location in Virginia.
I have had nothing but good experiences from CI. Their customer support is the best. Their customers are number one.
I would love to tour their facility, but so would hundreds of others and that would be too disruptive to their job. Your video is good enough tour replacement for sure. Quality products from a quality company.👍🦊

As a semi new picker, I finally tried CI products. Usually, I purchased from sparrows (still like them) but was blown away but CI products. Very well made!!!
