The Mole Season 2 Ep. 1-5 Recap - The Most Expensive Exemption EVER!

The Mole Season 2 has hit Netflix, and I recap the first five episodes. In these, we see four eliminations and a lot of money gets dropped from the pot. In my opinion, these were the wild first five episodes that already surpassed season 1.

Season 2 will see 12 strangers working together to complete a series of challenges with the hopes of adding money to a prize pot. However, among them is a player meant to secretly sabotage the group — the Mole, whose job is to prevent the group from adding any money to the fund. Throughout the season, all players must keep tabs on the people around them and test their intuition in periodic quizzes about the Mole’s identity: Whoever scores the lowest is eliminated.

Starting on June 28, new episodes of the series will drop each Friday up until the finale.

I LOVED the original seasons. Probably my favorite show ever. I even liked the celebrity reboot for their cheesiness and the one off season that happened later.
I am still not sold on the Netflix version. The challenges are pretty good and the hosts have been ok (Ari is no Anderson) but the exemptions in every round just KILL it for me. Part of the fun was the comraderie and there's no way to have that when someone is blowing the entire pot (or nearly so) every round on an exemption. I'm with Q; what are we doing here?
