Poor Captain Pete looked so sad in the beginning. So glad he found his way to Australia Zoo for rehab. Thank you for everything you and the Wildlife Warriors do to protect our wildlife, large and small. 💕

Growing up being a similar age to Robert. I grew up watching Steve Irwin and when he passed it was such a huge loss for the animal community. It’s dope to have grown up and be able to see Robert doing such a killer job. He looks so natural and knowledgeable and chill. I’m glad he’s able to continue the legacy

I have always loved turtles, and being able to see one so closely is both amazing and sad, considering the circumstances under which he's there. I'm so glad that he has people like all of you to help him recover, and try to make his world a better place through awareness!!

This is going to sound a bit confusing, but my kindergarten teachers daughter was apart of the wildlife warriors and had a big passion for animals especially giraffes.
She sadly passed in 2017 at the age of 9 my school was heavily impacted by this and got therapist’s to come explain what happen to everyone. When she died her parents made a go fund me and created these amazing t-shirts with stuff she was heavily involved in like wildlife warriors. In the wildlife hospital at the zoo there quotes on the walls of the hospital. When i visited it was amazing to see the hospital and I was told (sorry if this isn’t accurate I don’t have much memory from this) that my teachers daughter had a little display in a corner and it was heart warming to see this beautiful little girl that would’ve made a great zoo keeper/ wildlife enthusiast.
The zoo keepers and everyone involved at Australia zoo puts in so much effort to make what the zoo is today and I’m so grateful how the Irwin’s have continued Steve legacy in something he was so passionate about.
