Meili is an ill-fated girl. Abandoned by her parents, she was raised by her elder sister, who is infertile. In her early twenties, Meili works a humdrum laundry shop manual job during the days, and the nights, she takes care of her girlfriend, Wen, whose professional duties include partying with the bosses. Meili quits her job and decides to follow Wen to Shanghai. Unexpectedly, Wen leaves her in Changchun. Meili's sister, a victim of domestic violence, comes to her for help. When her brother-in-law finds them, he brings unbearable memories and secrets to the surface. Meili desperately awaits Wen's return, but what waits around the corner is more deception and betrayal.
