Sunday Gathering - God In Need?, Luke 8:1-3
Показать описание
We will begin making our way into Chapter 8 of Luke, taking a laser focus approach to Jesus’ second ministerial tour through the Galilee region, and more specifically, His, “…proclaiming and preaching the kingdom of God.” What did that mean?
Secondly, why did Jesus allow Himself to be dependent upon His own fallen creation? Jesus had been demonstrating His authority and now was about to do some serious teaching about the kingdom. Are you ready for this?
Luke 8:1-3
1. How would you define the kingdom of God?
2. Would you be able to talk about the kingdom to a friend? If not, what might you do to acquaint yourself with the language of the kingdom?
3. Is it hard for you to accept that Jesus was fully God and fully man?
4. Does the dawning reality that He was both God and man make you love Him even more? God was willing not only to get tired, be thirsty and hungry; He was willing to be misunderstood and ultimately killed for us. Does that grab you?
