My experience has been that GOD has a plan.
GOD always gives me what I need and not what I want. It always comes in HIS time and not mine.
I have learned that sometimes I have to listen very carefully, closely, and without expectation. If I do this I have always gotten an answer. Sometimes I have had to wait a year or more. But GOD does answer.
He allowed me to be an alcoholic and an addict. But on my way to recovery I developed a closer relationship with GOD. A relationship I don’t think I would have developed had I never experienced the lifelong problems of addiction.
I’ve been sober 39 years, my life is incredibly better and I always remember this 1 thing
