What is VMware tools?

Without VMware Tools installed in your guest operating system, guest performance lacks important functionality. Installing VMware Tools eliminates or improves these issues:

• Low video resolution
• Inadequate color depth
• Incorrect display of network speed
• Restricted movement of the mouse
• Inability to copy and paste and drag-and-drop files
• Missing sound
• Provides the ability to take quiesced snapshots of the guest OS
• Synchronizes the time in the guest operating system with the time on the host

This software is for free and it’s to expensive!!!! I compared Fusion 12.1.1 with Parallels 14.1.3 on my iMac 5K (i5 - 3.3 GHz - 16GB RAM - SSD)
Catalina (10.15.7)
Windows 10 Pro in Parallels is running 2 times faster. With Fusion Windows feels like on a very old and slow machine.
And I know, there is already Parallels 16 !!
VMWare is 10 behind Parallels!!!

For international people (=outside US) you may not have the choice/link to get personal license (only paid version)!

Just set location in header of the website to "us", then come back fusion page as you see in the video here : personal licence will be available (maybe need to complete registration since missing content may be required).

Is vmware works on Macos Monterey or only in Big Sur ?
