I think something’s wrong with the air. Every human is wearing a mask, and the animals all could be slowly dyeing. That might be why part of the game’s title is called extinction is forever, but I’m just guessing. Edit: So I just wanted episode ten, (spoilers) and a lot of people aren’t wearing a mask. So maybe the poor air, or any of your ideas isn’t effecting the people there. Also when Molly took off her mask she got sick so maybe if it is a disease it mainly spreads through the air.

Honestly the longer I watch the guy who took the cub, the more I get Death Stranding vibes. He's not hurting the cub on purpose, if at all. He's just carrying it along with him, and seemingly keeping it safe. For all we know he's doing something like catch-and-release, taking the cub and trying to find somewhere safe to let it go.

Poor pups… I think Ember should stay the same(name being Ember) but coconut should be Cocoa, Todd should be bandit & I think Dust should be Ash but that’s just A suggestion

There might be a disease that affects humans but animals can carry it no problem, so the kit was stolen to study it in hopes of it carrying the disease hence the heavy quarantine gear.

Tips: factory is dangerous becuase of humans. Rabbits, rats, fish, and chiken are the best for your cubs
You should not be giving garbage to your cubs it barely feeds them..(only if its the only thing you have)
