Why Tyler Perry Can't Make Soul Food

Tyler Perry has not been able to create any movies that will last past our on nostalgia. None of his movies or projects about the Black family have changed the game and will stand the test of time. For someone who using the story of Black families he struggles with the ability to make soul food which is ironic.

The issue i have with Tyler is that when he talks about himself, he tends to put himself on this pedestal of a Malcolm X or Martin luther king to black people. And it's like sir... stand down, you came up off of playing an old lady in a wig.
