Yes, Loy. We (parents) have a tendency to overthink and sometimes overprotect. My kindergarten age daughter experienced something similar. A boy recently called her ugly and she mentioned it to me. I found myself feeling more hurt than my daughter 😂. Like Helen, my daughter forgot about it too.I explained to her that "some kids have a bad day and when they have a bad day, they say things to hurt other people". I told her "hurt people hurt others" and I also told her to call him ugly back if he says that to her again.🤷. My husband told me to brush it off. He said this is normal. One day, they're friends and one day, they fight. That's how kindergarten kids are.

I used to be a tattoo artist. Never ever tattooed anyone's face not even for a million dollars. The face is sacred. Is who you are regardless of what happens below the neck. It's plain stupid!
