If hens had increase egg production, no would way this would not be mormal. I pay extra for free range eggs because it is more expensive and little less prodictive. Worth it to me.

I can attest that eggs from uncaged free chickens are better than even the “free range” chicken eggs in the store which are still in crowded cages, just really big ones with thousands of chickens.

The shells are harder, the yolks richer, oranger and overall just more flavorful.
