Yea, this is the right idea.
The thing about those doors is that when you level up, a door opens and you receive an upgrade. However, your level bar will stay at the cap until you get to the door.
This means that any extra kills will not give you experience.

Max Out the Teleport Ability It becomes a black hole

You wanna use ranged to build a combo then use punches or kicks boosted by their damage increasing skills if you wanna do the most possible damage. Weeb is pretty good at this as you can first upgrade their base ranged into what is arguably the best ranged weapon and definitely the best for standard floors since the fireball doesn’t stop when it hits ( this can also make you hit bosses enough times to outdamage gattling sometimes). Then their karate chops upgrades into what is probably the strongest punch.

the free xp present acts like the more enemies skill except only once

So, another thing that I'm not sure you know yet or not: when your XP is full, you don't gain any more XP until you get a promotion. So if you want to level up quickly, it's in your best interest to rush to the promotion door before fighting any more enemies.

HOLY CRAP, I looked at the first few seconds of the video and I already know how good this is going to be.

Also, I have a challenge, I don't have a name for it, but basically, play as Handyman: and the only attacks you can choose, are attacks that don't use your hands, feet, or head to damage, only use attacks that have you using a weapon to damage, for example: Gun, axe, glue gun, knife throw, taser, and many more, also you can keep the punches you start with. I tried it, it was fun, so now you try it.
