Mustang SOUND OFF | 5.0 vs. 3V exhaust comparison

Video comparison of both my old S197 mustangs. Exhaust set-ups are as follows:

2014 5.0 Coyote: with E-force supercharger, BBK longtube headers, catless x-pipe, and MBRP race axle-back.

2005 3V 4.6 with: Vortech supercharger, Detroit rocker cams, Kooks longtube headers, catless x-pipe, and Flowmaster Outlaw axle-back.

Coyotes sound damn good, but you can’t beat the sound of a 3v

5.0 sounds great but the 3V is honestly one of the best sounding cars ever just a beautiful mix of new age v8 high pitch rasp and old school low rumble

The 4.6L cars sounded musclely back then and way better than the Coyote IMO, the Coyotes sound unique but a 3V ripping by will make my head turn over a Coyote for sure

The 4.6 cars sound the best . Especially cammed. Hopefully gonna cam my 96 cobra.

5.0s are too raspy and annoying. 4.6 2, 3 and 4 valves are the sound of muscle!

I love my 2011 5.0 and they sound good but sometimes I miss the sound of my old 07 3v it had that old school v8 sound

It's a shame that it costs a lot of money to get coyote power out of a 3v, because if going off of sound alone, I would pick the 3v any day

I love the sound of the 3 valves over all.. but you can't beat the sound of the high rpm screaming 5.0.

Long body glass packs and h pipe for the 5.0 because it has the old school Y-block firing order

The mod motor and basically any exhaust sounds pretty good minus straight pipes and super 10s

I did see a mac chambered mid pipe with borla axlebacks that was nice.

Love coyotes but the 4.6 sounds way more raw and legit as a v8. Yes the coyotes performance is undeniable. But the 4.6 4v is for sure competitor without having the coyote tech
