Wonder if Nick ties into Tiffany's season 1 comment to Nellie when Nellie mentioned her dad had a beeper, and Tiffany said, Beepers are for drug dealers? Has to be a connection since Nick knows Tiffany, has a beeper, is likely involved in stuff going from the first two episodes of this season. Then there is the matter of how Evan is connected to Nick, seeing how Tiffany told Nellie in Season 1 episode 7 about Evan being involved in some bad stuff.

My really stupid theory is that some time before the timeline of the series Evan bought drugs from that dealer dude, Nick, and he overdosed and it caused him to have a mental breakdown and become catatonic and that's why Tiffany hates Nick so much. Nick probably doesn't know about Evan's current state.
