West Metro Fire Rescue: RV Fire, January 2021

Our crews on Friday afternoon, January 8, 2021, on an RV fire in the 4500 block of Lakehurst Way. A neighbor spotted the flames, alerted the owner and the two attempted to put the fire out after calling 911. Firefighters arrived on scene to a fully involved RV fire, away from structures, but near a wood fence. The fire was under control in a few minutes.
The RV is a total loss, no one was injured. The cause of the fire was an electrical malfunction.
