My first time ever at a casino I won $850 at the craps table. I remember as soon as my turn was over, I printed my ticket and immediately left to cash out. Other players who had been there long before me exclaimed, “look at all the money you can use to bet now.” The thought of that was insane to me.

I can’t say a small part of me didn’t wonder what could’ve been if I had kept going, but I’m glad I decided to walk away. I didn’t expect to win anything at all, so winning $850 to me was huge. I came home and bought a new MacBook for college that next week and it’s been serving me well through school.

Edit: I’ve never had a comment get this much attention. Thanks to all who responded. Yes, this story is legit. I have no reason to lie. I had a lot of fun, but I’m glad I left when I did.
