One of the greatless, powerful, saddest, happier scenes of the cinema and existentialism ever

Woody Allen films are great. I especially like the early funny ones

You have beauty, love and contentment, but only 17 seconds of it.

1980s NYC, everlasting Sunday mornings with the Times, cool breezes from the ocean, Deborah shares a chocolate croissant in our Brooklyn apt. like Max and his milk and strawberries. RIP Deb

I can’t believe the critics didn’t like this one. I think it was a very daring picture, and one that pays off for the most part. And this remains one of my favorite scenes in movies

Will never forget this great movie. I consider it Woody Allen's masterpiece. And the melody, in the moment I heard it I felt shivers of emotion all over my body. LOVE BOTH...the movie and the melody. .💖💖💖

can't watch even a still of rampling in this scene without getting watery eyes. such a powerful, yet simple, scene.

l love Woody Allen movies. This particular one was one of his best. The scene, with beautiful Charlotte Rampling and in the background Louis Armstrong singing in the background, is UNFORGETABLE for the romantic/dramatic effect it has on the viewer.

Louis Armstrong is the best ever. This record feels as if it should accompany the most cinematically beautiful moment of your life. The sounds are like a dose of warm and cosy optimism

What an amazing scene and incredible performance; it just goes on and on, but is not too long. If you know what I mean ;-) Would today's directors and audiences be able to shoot and watch something similar, given our sped-up lives and shortened attention spans today?

I know no one as Woody Allen who can create these simple and immensely touching scenes in movies. It is brilliant auteurship; he gets out exactly the feeling he intends to convey, and you immediately connect with it.

America’s Mozart Louis Armstrong combined with beautiful B&W photography of Charlotte Rampling. Simply gorgeous.

I'm glad that I too have a couple of memories that have made me feel like this but I wish one could be of Charlotte Rampling lying on my lounge room floor.
