Preston Hates Band-Aids!!! It's happened again! Preston somehow got an owie and got a scratch on his arm. Of course we tried fixing it with a band-aid but he wasn't having it!

I don't get it... Do all kids hate band-aids until they think a band aid will fix just about anything or is it just our kids?

Most little ones love band aids. They think that they will fix anything. But some just don't understand what they are or what they are for, so it upsets them.
Take him to the store and let him pick out the ones he likes. Then let him play with some for a bit.show him what they are for and let him see that it keeps the boo boo clean and that they don't really hurt but help the hurt go away. You could also try a small boo boo ice pack. Or even a boo boo bear. A boo boo bear is just a small bear thet you bye just for when they have a boo boo. Some have a why to keep cold or worm and some even come with some sound. Look them up.
I'm a retired preschool teacher and these are some of the tricks I have used for my little one's. Also you can use baking soda on throw up and then vacuum it up. That also helps the smell. Good luck and God bless.. 😀❤️😇🙏🌸☀️🍭
