I absolutely loved this, and loved the deviation in the plot-twist ending. TBH, I'm a little bit frustrated at all the negative comparisons to the 1999 film. They're totally different interpretations and, ironically, this is truer to the original book.

Best filmed tv series I have ever seen…as a former film student I had never felt that a tv series was made by one of us for the rest of us before. I mean it was great overall, superb acting, but my god the cinematography.

It had Matt Damon, Jude Law…and others it was good. This sounds like a remake with great acting as well. Maybe I will renew Netflix.

Andrew Scott is all wrong as Ripley!!! Too old. Repulsive. Charmless. Unbelievable to be someone who can easily make friends with rich people. He looks creepy in every scene. Anyone with little common sense would run away from him. What a crappy series.
