Hi Gemma I have been doing cinnamon roll monkey bread in this type about three years ago, it’s absolutely delicious. The difference between mine that i make the rolls smaller or some times i make them in regular size then i cut each roll in two half.

Anyway, ( a delicious rich dough with good amount of butter, brown sugar and cinnamon combined with cream cheese goodness or gooey caramely salty sauce ) just count me in ! I will never stop trying a new shape and technique for this combination!

I made this for brunch yesterday and what a ‘super hit’ it was! Was doubting the frosting after the caramel sauce but it elevated it to the next degree ! Hats off for making the humble cinnamon roll to an absolute crowd pleaser!!

Hi Gemma, if I wanted to skip the caramel sauce could I? I like a true monkey bread that has a lot of icing. Crisp on top and soft in the middle. Thanks for your recipes.

Amazing. I think adding lightly roasted pecans on the very bottom of the bunt form with the first portion of the caramel sauce would add to the whole thing.
