hiya buddy, Had to smile when I saw you with the countersink drill bits. Bought a pack of exactly the same ones as you before closing today. For what they cost they're definitely worth a punt. Interesting feature and time saving device with the removable chuck. Very innovative in fact. I suspect that on bigger projects you may end up using the Parkside for drilling due to smaller battery and the Makita for the more heavy duty screwing ? Will be interesting to see how it fairs Dave. Yep I have 2 drills and driver on hand most of the time. Drill, Counter, Drive. Although that removable chuck is a great little idea...

Nice one Dave 😁. That was so funny... I went to Lidl the other day and also got the countersink bits and the lacquer 😁. I'm sure I'll use them soon. Thanks for the video 😁👍

Nice one, Dave. I agree with the sentiment of having a few drills for the exact same reason. Changing bits, countersink and drivers and all is a real workflow efficiency pain. I use my Bosch for predrilling, Screwfix Erbauer one for countersink, and Aldi one for driving in screws.. 👍

Great bit of kit Dave I might have to treat myself to one of those drills, thanks for the review 👍

Hi Dave.
Absolutely love mine. So much so, I went back to Lidl and bought a spare to keep just incase they discontinued.
Only negative for me is it's never very good in a tool pouch. But I still love it for the price.
Thanks for sharing

Definitely no shortage of screwing power on the drill. I've thrown so many good brand name drills away in the past because the batteries failed and new batteries cost more than cheaper drills. Now I use three cheap 18v drills at once and the time saved is massive, usually long drill, countersink and screw bit - had them for years. Another great review, thanks.

Hi Dave I bought an older version of this drill (C2 not D4) almost identical, its a great little tool you won't regret the purchase. 👍 😎

That has some great features especially the price it does make you wonder why more company's don't have similar features possibly to make you buy more tools i suppose.

Good selection of tools Dave, I’d be interested how you get on the bit set, I recently bought TicTac box of Milwaukee bits and to be blunt they are absolutely crap

30 quid? That has got to be a bargain. I might just have to get me one of those as I too am fed up to the back teeth of changing bits eleventy times to put one screw in. Thanks Dave.

I was looking at these drills in Lidl yesterday and wondering if they'd be any good so your review has been helpful. I wish they hadn't included the battery and charger though as I already have them.

Armed with the knowledge from this video I set off to my local Lidl...50 mile round trip. Lidl have loads of drills minus battery. Loads of 2mAh and 4mAh batteries. A few other tools as well.
Not one single charger. I did find one for sale on Ebay at £99. Cheapest I could get one was at more than twice the price. Thanks Lidl.

Another brilliant review Dave, the drill looks really good for the money. One little thing, Milwaukee have the same removable chuck idea on one of their smaller drills. Keep the vids coming 👍

Picked one up today before they are gone as I wanted a countersink drill for a project today, have to say, bloody impressed. Then again I have lots of Parkside stuff and it's never let me down. Cracking little drill/driver :) oh and subscribed!
