My first “serious” heli was the Trex 450 pro with the silver graphite frame. She had a flybar and taught me how to fly. I never wrecked her, but I never pushed any crazy 3D either. Rolls, loops, and some brief inverted. I have alot of nostalgia for the Align 450. I gave it to my nephew. I like this new kit. I’d probably stick to microbeast because I’m used to it and I fly Spectrum Radios so this new TB40 is a no brainer for me.

Hey Alan, I appreciate you doing this all the time but we all have one favor, can you ask Align to stop adding Microbeastx on all their combos and at least give their customers an option to pick a different FBL system? I'm not sure what kind of contract they have with that brand but goodness not everyone likes the beastx. I'm only saying this from personal experience, recently I got the TB60 and set it up with the beastx it came with bu that almost didn't go well, replaced it with Ikon and all problems went away. I know you do the same and go with your Futaba...so what gives? Thanks for all you do!

These birds going back to the OG design of upper and lower frames? Wasn’t the simpler 2 piece frame stronger and better at surviving crashes. Seems like a backward design change?
