I remember reading in the LA Times in the early 2000s about a gardener making $15 an hour buying a $500, 000 house with an adjustable mortgage. He should never have been allowed to make such a loan based on his income. The people who made the loan should have gone to jail but they got away with it. They made millions of dollars making completely unrealistic loans to people who could not afford them.

Nice Hank Paulson Freudian slip at 6:27 in. All these guys legacies amongst the masses will remain tarnished regardless of this spin.

the people who should be questioned at the platform is Greenspan, Paul Ruben and Larry Summers. These guys devised the unregulated policies that went back to ayn rand's free market policies without regulation or restrictions.

It's hard to explain because the premise is a lie.

Read the book The Big Short, guys. Four men saw what was coming some time ago, why couldn't you?

I can remember a friend who was in the mortgage business visiting a mutual friend in Florida. She called me as she was witnessing entire blocks of homes, one after the other that were in foreclosure. She told me she could not believe her eyes.

Where were these guys when people were selling AAA rated garbage? Didn't they know it'll bust? Oh... They were securing fat checks and setting records as the most paid CEO on the wall street 😂

I think history will look kindly on these guys. They were caught up in a system, didn't see the crisis coming, had inadequate tools, but reacted to save the system, because they genuinely believed the alternative was worse for the general public. I recognize that type of situation. They did a great job.

Romans 1;22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things.

After listening to them all you know it is going to happen again this time I will not be in the financial bubble. It like aliens are speaking from another world far from reality.

Storms that are happening right now in the weather are once in every 500 yrs and they are happening more frequently. Take North Carolina for instance. They have been hit twice in the last three years. I believe it is a sign. These financial crises that happens once every 75 yrs will be happening more often. People will have to get used to it and be prepared!
