My mother just died recently and the choir sang this song on her 40th day of passing. The song really touched my heart, Its the most beautiful song sang by the most beautiful voices ive heard in my life i had to look up the song title just to listen to it again.

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace:
where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
where there is sadness, joy.

O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek

to be consoled as to console,
to be understood as to understand,
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
Amen.

I love that they sang this in a church. The acoustics are just perfect!!!! I bet Mr. Delgado arranged this for the church. Very very soothing...

Lord, make me an instrument of thy Peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow Love.
Where there is injury, thy Pardon, Lord.
Where there is doubt, let there be Faith.

Oh Lord, make me an instrument of thy Peace.
Where there is despair, let me bring Hope.
Where there is darkness, let there be Light.
where there is sadness, let there be Joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek:
to be consoled, as to console,

to be understood, as to understand,
to be loved, as to love.

Lord, make me an instrument of thy Peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow Love.
For it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned.

And it's in dying that we are born
to eternal life, to eternal life.
Lord, make me an instrument of thy Peace.
An instrument of thy Peace. Amen.

Really refreshing delivery of the song. Usually the choirs from the Philippines would sing this very heavy and loud.

This was one of my favorite choir songs. And as a follower of Jesus. It’s one of my prayers that I sing often. God Bless you.

I can not get through without tears in my eyes and my heart overwhelmed, overcome with emotion😭 it’s as if I am taken on an outer body experience; I am forever thankful to have been introduced to Choral music at a young age, and have grown to love it as much throughout my life.

It reminds me of my choir days with the Philippine Normal University Chorale. This was the for choir piece that i have learned as a new member then wayback 1994.
