Precalculus: The Graph of a Rational Function (Video #16) | Math with Professor V

Показать описание
Step-by-step explanation and examples of how to graph a rational function by finding its domain, x- and y-intercepts, equations of horizontal, oblique/slant asymptotes, and vertical asymptotes. Determining whether or not the graph crosses its horizontal or oblique asymptotes, and putting all the information together to draw a lovely and precise graph. Essential for any calculus-bound student. #precalculus #rationalfunctions #graphing #graphingrationalfunctions #asymptotes #mathtvwithprofessorv #verticalasymptote #horizontalasymptote #obliqueasymptote #slantasymptote #functions #polynomials #domain #range #graphs #calculus #mathvideos #math #precalculusvideos #mathtutor #mathprofessor #mathhelp #trigonometry

Professor V, thank you for outlining and explaining the Graph of a Rational Function in Precalculus. Graphing Rational Functions uses concepts that all students are familiar with from day one.

Tbh it’s very difficult to graph the middle portion without using calculus. Calculus makes these much easier to graph. If anything, testing points would be the best option to graph the middle part. That’s just my opinion
