BMW - Active Kidney Grille

Have you noticed newer BMW grilles are closed? Not always! Due to increasing efficiency, the grille can now open or remain closed depending on what the vehicle needs.

What was used to film this?

dude. thx for the tip on how to open the kidney flaps. i threw on some PCV (light Blue) covers on the V-Brace (just behind the flaps) and could not get them to open even after 10 minutes in Sport+... doing that, then putting the AC on Max did it though!

I’ve got a 2020 M340i and I think it has these. How do I open/close them? Just turn on max AC?

I fear what may ultimately happen right around 45, 000 miles.

Wait until rock hits it and the whole thing collapses, I’ve seen it happened and it’s at least a $1k fix
