I have a few Zenith El Primero open watches. They are my favorite watch due to: stunning beauty of the movement, reserve de marche, time accuracy, comfort of the steel band, smoothness of the crown, asymmetric look, classiness of the design. It's a very sophisticated, sporty look and not played out like most other major watch brands.

Great review Teddy, great video detail as well. I still think I'd need to see this watch in the flesh for a closer look before any purchase consideration. I do like the execution of the open heat dial. That it does not have the date complication is certainly not a blocker for me. The dial shows what it needs to do and it looks like it does it rather well.

Is this watch lug widths 21mm or 20mm? He said 20mm. Online said the spec of the watch is 21mm lug widths

Needs to be seen in real life. It's like a jewel - light glints in all directions and attention to detail is extreme. Umm, yes, the inside of the strap is rubber, in case you sweat.

But you are not an authorised dealler to sell this watch right? The warranty of this watch is not valid, because the official dealler has to activate it through their authorised accounts since october 2020. The warranty cant be valid, its impossible - only from authorised deallers

What drives me crazy is to breaking up the minute counter subdial. The minutes are the most important part of a chronograph and the design makes it difficult to read on the bottom left. It has kept me from buying a Zenith.
